We work with schools, both in the gallery, and remotely, to support children and young people to engage with and learn about art and its relevance to everyday life, and to support teachers to embed contemporary art into the curriculum.
Our current creative workshop programme, #FridayFact, has been devised by artist Holly Graham to support cross-curricular learning in the classroom in relation to colonialism and the histories and legacies of sugar, while looking at the contemporary impacts of past events on our lived experience today.
We also deliver training and development (CPD) sessions for teachers and educators in collaboration with colleagues from Educational Studies.
