We work with schools, both in the gallery, and remotely, to support children and young people to engage with and learn about art and its relevance to everyday life, and to support teachers to embed contemporary art into the curriculum.
We offer interactive tours of current and future exhibitions. We offer these on Wednesday mornings and they can be booked here.
We also have resources to use directly with learners in the classroom. Use this guide to develop workshops connecting with Eugenio Dittborn’s exhibition Airmail Paintings.
Alternatively try our #FridayFact, programme, devised by artist Holly Graham to support cross-curricular learning in the classroom in relation to colonialism and the histories and legacies of sugar, while looking at the contemporary impacts of past events on our lived experience today.
We also deliver training and development (CPD) sessions for teachers and educators focused on embedding contemporary art into the curriculum.
