Sinking into objects

School workshops

November 2019 – February 2020

Sinking into Objects was a project with secondary school students from the Harris Girls Academy, East Dulwich, culminating in an installation and the production of handling objects and activities for other school groups to use when navigating the CCA’s 2020 exhibition Transparent Things.

Year 9 and year 12 pupils worked in collaboration with practical philosopher Ayisha de Lanerolle and artist Kimberley Foster over winter 2019 to respond to explore the histories and stories embodied in objects and the space of CCA itself.
