Mark Couzens’ phone had ran out of battery. He was meant to be condition reporting the works. Instead he drew this.

Commissioned during the Covid-19 crisis as a response to the exhibition Transparent Things, Mark Couzens’ comic narrativises artworks under lockdown. Works by artists such as Michael Dean, Renee So, Marie Lund and Lucy Skaer animate or become giant versions of themselves. They by turn harness the qualities of transparency, pilot dive-bombing planes through the air, lament their isolation and comply to social distancing.
