Join us for the opening of Material Reality by Christina Mackie, and It’s 8:30. Do you know where your brains are? by Paper Tiger Television, on Thursday 29 January, 6–9pm.

Christina Mackie will present her first institutional solo exhibition for over a decade. The exhibition celebrates Mackie’s contribution to British art, bringing new works to bear on paradigmatic pieces from the past fifteen years, attuned to geological, environmental, digital, and scientific modes of imaging and processing.

Paper Tiger Television (PTTV) are a US-based video collective that used the public access channels of cable television to make nearly 400 programmes. Founded in 1981, PTTV’s programmes both critiqued the corporate control of mainstream media and provided a radical alternative to it.

All are welcome!
