Sun 13 Jul, 12—2pm — Social Dream Drawing

Join Silkworm Collective to explore dreams and memory through a collaborative drawing exercise. Thinking about the importance of dreams as a form of internal storytelling, this workshop will offer time and space to reflect, play and engage with your own dreams through the visual language of drawing. Sun 13 Jul, 4—6pm — Tender Threads

Threadbare Collective will present a night of performance, poetry and essay reading by poets and writers local to Deptford and New Cross, exploring the themes of soft spaces, tactics of care, realms of fantasy and dreamscapes. More information and tickets here.

Join Alchemy collective for an afternoon of transformative music and poetry. Alchemy is a creative music and youth work mentoring programme, delivered by a diverse team of music and spoken word artists, students, alumni and youth workers, for 13-21 year-olds in Lewisham. Sun 20 Jul, 2—4pm — BLOSSOM Young Mums Poetry Showcase

A poetry showcase curated by Yasmin Ali in collaboration with BLOSSOM, a Lewisham based young mums group. The event offers a platform for mothers to perform their own poetry, as well as a supportive and intimate space to express their experiences of motherhood and share their stories. Sun 20 Jul, 5—8pm — Unbecoming Chorus

A day of reading, writing, and performance foregrounding the work of South London-based writers, artists, and readers.  Plural, dissonant and non-conforming selves will be explored across three sessions of reading, guided writing and performance organised by Auto, a reading and writing collective formed as part of the Feminist Duration Reading Group’s residency at Goldsmiths CCA. Sat 26 Jul, 12—2pm — Archive Fictioning

This workshop by Silkworm Collective will use local archival material to build fictional characters. Together we will reflect on the spaces we inhabit and the hidden histories behind them, envisioning whose footsteps we follow and how the use of public space can contribute towards care, community and collectivism. Sun 27 Jul, 1—5pm — School of Cvntolgy

This day-long reading event will feature 15 writers from the School of Cvntology, the writing school TISSUE started with Camp Trans – a camping festival inspired by radicals in communion. More information and tickets here.
