Haberdashers’ Hatcham College
Haberdashers’ Hatcham College is one of the largest and oldest secondary schools in Lewisham, educating over 1300 students from a diverse range of backgrounds, religions, ethnicities and social-economic circumstances. It has a long history of supporting creative subjects such as Art & Design. Through the residency, we aim to build on our connection with neighboring Goldsmiths University, offering students opportunities to experience art in an exciting and local setting. By collaborating with practicing artists and visiting a venue outside school, students will challenge and enhance their creative and critical thinking skills, work with new materials and broaden their cultural horizons.
