The Floor Five collective, residents at Goldsmiths CCA, cordially invite you to attend a collaborative workshop this Sunday, February 13th, from 12:30-2:30pm. This workshop is intended as the first in a series of sessions which involve working collaboratively to contribute to a continuously growing cookbook archive entitled ‘All Spice’.

If you’d like to join please come to the workshop with a recipe in mind. This recipe would ideally be tied to a memory or have some significance e.g. to your identity, culture or family.

Materials will be provided though feel free to bring magazine cuttings, fabrics, textures, photos etc. that you would like to use to make an illustrative collage of the food your recipe produces, as well as a written ingredients list and step by step instructions on how to make the final product. The recipe can be written in whatever style you are comfortable with and in multiple languages if you so desire. We want to make each recipe page as personalised as possible.

Hope to see you there! -Floor Five

Workshop Structure:

12:30 – Workshop Introduction and Sharing Example Works

13:00 – Sharing session of each peoples recipes

13:30 – Recipe Writing and Illustration

14:30 – Sharing session of produced works.

Materials you can bring:

-Any fabrics etc to cut
