During the run of From Signal to Decay: Volume 1, cellist Kate Shortt, experimental musician Aniruddha Das and interdisciplinary artist Gary Stewart produced sonic interventions that harmonised and collided with Trevor Mathison’s sound installation in the basement of the CCA building. Each individual performance responded to Mathison’s work in nuanced, unique and unexpected ways.

This documentation, produced by Mathison, presents footage of each performance in the same frame and combines it with an amalgamation of sounds, taken both from the performances and the installation.
