Silkworm Collective comprises five women artists based in London. Their work engages with memory, land, and grief via textile and installation. Formed with an emphasis on artistic support and accessibility, they are focused on community engagement and education, bringing their research together to work with local communities, running accessible workshops and events employing textile techniques, embracing the craft for its materiality, mindfulness, tradition, strength, fragility, and source of community.
