Virginia Overton, Untitled, 2015

If you’re a teacher or educator wondering how to talk about contemporary art with young learners, join Trish Scott, Engagement Curator at the CCA, Neil Walton, Subject Leader for PGCE Art & Design at Goldsmiths, and artists Leap then Look for some suggestions.

At this session we will share some practical strategies for engaging young learners with contemporary art with a focus on Virginia Overton’s exhibition at the CCA ‘Animal Magnetism’.

This event is the 6th in our termly series Embedding Contemporary Art in the Curriculum. The CPD series gives practical and theoretical examples of how to engage young learners with contemporary art. The series draws on the rich artistic programme at Goldsmiths CCA whilst being an opportunity to hear from educators, teachers and artists about current practice and classroom tips.

The event on the 16th March will take place online. Book via the ‘ticket’ link below.
